When forensic psychologist Nuwara Grey, a New Yorker with Hopi roots, investigates the psyche of tech billionaire Noah Porter, she becomes entangled in a web of crime, technological breakthroughs and power.
The story brings science and technology, power and responsibility, reason and intuition, progress and our relationship with the earth into tension with each other. Without offering easy answers, it asks what it means to stay human in a world where systems and technology hold ever more influence.
